I dream in color
see faces of those I know
their voices recognizable
in the darkness of the unknown space
of time and reason that we are within
I know them and they me
we are as we are when I'm awake
but that is not what makes it
reality for me...

I dream in spurts
many linked scenario's
for days back to back then
just like that - nothing
but what I saw was yet to come
and when it does I knew
it would but couldn't say so
so not to sound crazy
bout how these dreams
be reality for me...

I dream in fear
of seeing the end
before the beginning
and being stuck in the middle
cornered by craziness
unable to change things
only to watch as things
change me

I don't dream in the abstract
I dream what is to come
